Tam o’ Shanter Rides Again

With Eddi Reader and Alexander Goudie

Alexander’s son, Lachlan Goudie; a distinguished artist and presenter in his own right, led a celebration through his late father’s famous series of paintings, all based on the Tam O’ Shanter epic. This was interspersed with live music by the fabulous Eddi Reader and Cameron Nixon, finalist in the BBC young traditional musician of the year 2020.

The Blue Bonnet Trail

Jane McCarry, the doughty ‘Isa’ from Still Game and one of Scotland's most loved actresses, walked the route of Tam o' Shanter’s fabled journey, providing her own take on Tam’s experience of “Getting fou and unco’ happy”

Virtual Tamfest 2020

When the Covid19 pandemic brought lockdown, Tamfest continued to sparkle, with online performances by a wide range of musician and artists, including; Emi V, Aimee Penman, Alexandra Shrinivas (Accompanied by Daniel Victory), Scott Nicol, Siobhan McAuley, Fiona Hamilton and Kirsty Coope & Meredith McCrindle and Jai McDowall.
